He missed the point about people just wanting to do the distance rather than achieve a fast time. Lots of people out there enjoy racing for its own sake…
Maybe, he’s an ex pro. But the point he was making is why so many first timers end up walking. Surely much more fun and less pain if you prepare properly. Hence why I won’t be running Yorkshire on Sunday.
