Afternoon all,
As many of you know I’ve been dealing with a few niggles of varying degrees of seriousness over the summer that have restricted my running to only a few times a week (not that it showed too much today in Cheltenham, but hey…) just to get me to tow the line in Berlin at the end of the month.
After I have run this third marathon of the year I am intending to take a complete break from running to allow my body to recover. That, along with booking a holiday for half term means I will not be taking part in either of the final two races of this year’s Championship.
If anyone would like entries to either or both of Stroud Half Marathon and / or Guy Fawkes 5 in Tewkesbury let me know ASAP so organisers etc can be informed in advance.
Just in case you’re wondering, I’ll still be about when on my break for to coach you all on Wednesday efforts sessions; you don’t get rid of me that easily!
