London Winter Run
The Cancer Research UK London Winter Run took place on the 13th February in the centre of the capital city, following a route of famous London landmarks. The event boasts live entertainment, fancy dress characters and over 11,000 runners.
Running for RSE was Charlie Austin, who completed the course in a fantastic time of 1:16:05!
Really lovely route around Central London with the roads closed to traffic. Starts in Trafalgar Square and goes to the City and back again.
The beginner’s sessions at RSE have really helped me and although I didn’t manage to run it all, it wasn’t awful!

Wiltshire 10
The next race in the RSE Club Championship was the Wiltshire 10, starting and finishing in Melksham. Despite the windy and rainy weather, a fantastic number of RSE runners turned out for the event, which didn’t go unnoticed – as one rival club runner put it, ‘Have I just been overtaken by half of Cirencester?’ The course follows rural, undulating lanes to Lacock, before following the River Avon back to Melksham.

Out & back route from Melksham. Managed to get a new 10 mile race PB despite the strong howling headwinds and torrential rain! 😁 I was a very pleased drowned rat at the finish line! Thanks again to Robbo for pacing and pushing me along 💪🏻

Incredible times from Team RSE!
Gloucestershire XC Country
Taking place in Pittville Park, Cheltenham on the 13th February was race 2 in the Gloucester AA cross country league. It was a 2 lap course around the park and edges of Pittville lake with 2 stream crosses to negotiate. With heavy rain to contend with, it was a tough challenge to take on!
A huge well done to Paul Beaumont who took part in the event! Official results are still to be released.
