Goodwood Motor Circuit Marathon

The Goodwood Motor Circuit Marathon took place on Sunday 27th September. This event gave runners a unique opportunity to run a marathon around the world famous Goodwood Motor Circuit, home to the Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival. The race involved running around a smooth traffic free tarmac motor racing circuit 11 times. Goodwood motor circuit is the only classic circuit in the world to remain entirely in its original form. Goodwood Motor Circuit originally opened its gates to the public on September 1948, to host Britain’s very first post-war motor race meeting at a permanent venue.

Representing RSE was Linda Edwards who completed the race in 4:26 and came third in her age group. Great effort Linda
